Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) view symptoms as clues to the source of the real problem. NDs go beyond simply managing symptoms and seek tirelessly to fully heal the underlying source of the problem.

This medicine is right for you if you want to investigate and address the root cause of your health issues. This often involves patience as we assess your health holistically, from several perspectives that are often different than in conventional approaches. It also involves being committed to making lifestyle changes and making time to take herbs and supplements.

I have two physical practice locations. I'm in the Mission Medical Building in the Mission District in San Francisco for half the week. The other part of the week I'm in the DeBenedetti building at 418 Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay. I also practice virtually and can see clients located throughout California.

Credit card or check payment is due at the end of your visit. After our visit, I can provide you with a 'superbill' form that you can submit for reimbursement.

Saliva, urine, blood spot and mental performance tests can be done at home. Tests that require blood draws can be collected by a technician at a major laboratory location near you, e.g., LabCorp.

I typically see people once every 3 - 4 weeks until there’s significant improvement in symptoms or if the treatment plan has entered maintenance mode and then we spread out the visits over several months. Each person is unique, so the time frame varies from person to person.
-
It depends on your unique needs and response to the therapies. Most people I work with start to feel an improvement in their symptoms after 2 to 3 months. For long-term, complex conditions, it may take 6 months or more. A significant factor in the timeline is how much time and effort the client devotes to completing the recommended testing and incorporating treatment plans.
